Theright side of the GDU is a PFD and the left side is the MFD. In some models orinstallations, the PFD and MFD and their controls are switched to the other side.The MFD shows a moving map, flight plan, weather, and other supplementaldata. The PFD shows primary flight information, in place of traditional pitot-static and gyroscopic systems and also provides an HSI for navigation.Figure 1-2 GDU 620 PFD and MFD1.1.1.2 Air Data Computer (ADC)The Air Data Computer (ADC) compiles information from the pitot/staticsystem and an Outside Air Temperature (OAT) sensor. The ADC providespressure altitude, airspeed, vertical speed, and OAT information to the G500Hsystem.
