Pressing the RNG key will zoom out (increasing thedisplayed map range) and pressing the RNG key will zoom in (decreasingthe displayed map range). The Map Range is shown on the outer range ring. Themap ranges available are from 250 feet to 500 NM.3.1.5 Decluttering Map PagesThe Map Declutter feature allows the pilot to progressively step throughfour levels of decluttering to remove map information. The declutter level isdisplayed in the DCLTR soft key.Figure 3-5 Map Declutter Soft Key1) There are four levels of decluttering. DCLTR (0) shows the most detail. DCLTR-3removes the most detail.2) While viewing one of the Navigation Map pages, press the DCLTR soft key.Each successive press of the DCLTR soft key will toggle through the declutterlevels. In the following table, features marked with a “•” are shown at theindicated Declutter Level. Features shown at level 0 will be displayed at allDeclutter levels.NOTE: Traffic is automatically decluttered from Nav Map pages when themap scale is above 40 NM.
