Afterwards, rinse the cuvettes/sample cells several timeswith tap water and then thoroughly with deionized water.Note: Glass cuvettes/sample cells that have been used for organicsolvents (such as chloroform, benzene, toluene, etc.) must be rinsedwith acetone before being treated with cleaning agents. In addition,another rinse with acetone is necessary as a final treatment step beforethe cuvettes/sample cells are dried.7.2 Lamp replacement1. Switch off instrument.2. Remove the power cable from the instrument.3. Turn the instrument to allow work access to the underside.4. Using a slot-head screwdriver, undo the lamp cover screws.5. Remove the cover.6. Using a cross-head screwdriver, remove the two screws forthe lamp holder.C A U T I O NTo avoid a possible electric shock, disconnect the instrument from thepower source before servicing the lamp.N O T I C EBurn hazard.Wait until the lamp cools down.
