75Programmed play allows you to selectany track from an audio CD for playbackin a specific order. This type of program-ming is particularly useful for parties orother situations in which you desire con-tinuous playback of specific selections fora long period of time.Begin by stopping play and pressing theProgram Button S and a list ofloaded discs with their disc types willappear on screen (see Figure 53). How-ever, you may only program tracks on thecurrent disc.The Upper Display Line H will displayT– followed by the disc number. Thisrepresents the track number on the disc,which will appear in the order pro-grammed. Use the Numeric Keysl to enter the number of the firsttrack you wish to program into yourplaylist, and press the Set Buttons to enter it. Continue enteringtracks in this fashion to create your list,and press the Play Button e toplay the list.To edit the list, press the ProgramButton S followed by the ⁄Navigation Button q to view thenext track in the list or to add a track tothe end of the list, or the ¤ NavigationButton q to view the previoustrack in the list.Once you have programmed a list, youmay repeatedly press the ProgramButton S to toggle in and out ofprogrammed play mode.
