After preheat, theconvection element will cycle on and off in intervals to maintainoven temperature, while the fan constantly circulates the hot air.If the oven door is opened during convection baking orpreheating, the convection element and fan will turn offimmediately. Press ENTER.After 3 seconds, the oven will begin to preheat. “CNVTBAKE” and “PREHEAT” will appear in the display along with100° or the actual oven temperature, whichever is higher.The temperature in the display will increase in 1° incrementsuntil the oven reaches the preset temperature. Select the oven temperature using the Quickset pads.OREnter the desired temperature using the number pads.The temperature can be set between 170°F and 550°F(77°C and 288°C).6. Press ENTER pad to set.7. Select the cook time using the Quickset pads.OREnter the desired cook time using the number pads.NOTE: If Auto Convect is off, a roast time will not be required.8. At 75% of the cooking time the oven will beep to let you knowto check food. Check food using a meat thermometer.If food is done, take food out of oven and press CANCEL padto turn oven off.If food is not done, continue roasting.Once the set time has elapsed the oven will automatically gointo Keep Warm TM mode for 1 hour and then shut off.
