Do not touch glass until cooled.• If equipped with door latches that are part of a safety system, they must be properly engaged. Do notoperate the appliance with latches disengaged.• Facing and/or finishing materials must not interfere with air fl ow through air openings, louvre openings,operation of louvres, or doors/access for service. Observe all clearances when applying combustiblematerials.• Before door is removed, turn the appliance off and wait until appliance is cool to the touch. Doors are heavyand fragile so handle with care.A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from thehot viewing glass is provided with the appliance andmust be installed.Before the glass door can be removed, the safety screenmust be removed. Lift the safety screen up and away from theappliance.Remove door trims. Leave a hand on the glass door duringentire door removal. The glass door is secured to the fireboxwith 4 spring latches.Pull the handles of the latchesforward (door latch tool suppliedin manual baggie), then lift thelatches out from the door frameto release the of the door. Next,pivot the door forward until thetop edge clears the front of theappliance. Carefully grip the sidesof the door lifting it off the appliance.Reverse these steps to re-install the safety screen and door.Ensure safety screen is installed correctly.note:These spring latches make up the spring relief system forthe appliance.
