All rights reserved.Make a voice dialing callIf an application is sending orreceiving data using a packet dataconnection, end the applicationbefore you use voice dialing.Note: Using voice tags maybe difficult in a noisyenvironment or during anemergency, so you shouldnot rely solely upon voicedialing in all circumstances.1. In the standby mode, press andhold the right selection key. Ashort tone is played, and Speaknow is displayed.If you are using a compatibleheadset with the headset key,press and hold the headset key.2. Say the voice command clearly.The phone plays the voicecommand of the best match.After about 1.5 seconds, thephone dials the number; if theresult is not the correct one,before dialing select Next, andselect another entry to dial it.Using voice commands to carryout a phone function is similar tovoice dialing. See "Voicecommands" on page 62.Make a conference call(network service)1. Make a call to the firstparticipant.2. To make a call to anotherparticipant, select Options >New call. The first call isautomatically put on hold.3. To join the first participant in theconference call when the newcall is answered, select Options >Conference.• To add a new person to thecall, repeat step 2, and selectOptions > Conference > Addto conference. The phonesupports conference callsbetween a maximum of sixparticipants, includingyourself.• To have a private conversationwith one of the participants,select Options >Conference > Private. Select aparticipant and Private. Theconference call is put on holdon your phone. The otherparticipants can still continuethe conference call. To returnto the conference call, selectOptions > Add to conference.
