Phone book functions53EnglishCopying a name and numberto your phoneTo copy names and phone numbersfrom another compatible phone, youfirst need to set your phone to receivedata through its IR port by entering theInfrared (Menu 9).Then, the user of the other phone cansend you a name and number as abusiness card. When you receive thebusiness card, press Show, then pressOptions, select, Save or Discard,and press OK.Caller groupsYou can set the phone to sound aspecific ringing tone and flash aselected graphic on the display whenyou receive a call from a particularname and phone number. To do this,first include a name and number in acaller group. Then, define a ringing toneand graphic for this group.Note: You can set the phone toring only upon receiving callsfrom names and numbers thatbelong to a specific caller groupby using the Alert for settingunder the Profiles menu (seepage 31).Adding a name and phonenumber in a caller group1 Press Names, roll to Callergroups and press Navi Roller.2 Roll to the desired caller group andpress Navi Roller.3 Roll to Members and press NaviRoller.4 Press Navi Roller when Add nameis highlighted, then roll to thedesired name and press Add.Tip: You can also add a newname to a caller group by firstrecalling the desired name andnumber from the phone book,then pressing Options, thenrolling to Caller groups andpressing Navi Roller, and thenrolling to the desired caller groupand pressing Navi Roller.Setting a ringing tone orgraphic for a caller group andrenaming a caller group1 Press Names, roll to Callergroups and press Navi Roller.2 Roll to desired caller group andpress Navi Roller.3 Roll to one of the following settingsand press Navi Roller.Group titleTo rename the caller group, key in anew name and press OK.Note: New name can not be storedin Chinese characters.Group ringing toneTo set the phone to ring a specificringing tone for the group, roll tothe desired tone and press OK.
