Valid Options for the rip_advertise Parameterrip_authThis Annex parameter contains the password that controls authenticationfor RIP 2 packets. The string size ranges from 0 to 16 characters. TheAnnex displays this parameter’s value as “” if a password is enteredor “” if a null string is entered. When “, ” authenticationis turned off and all RIP packets are accepted. The default is a null string("").rip_default_routeThis Interface parameter allows an Annex to advertise that it is the defaultrouter. Valid values are 0 through 15, or off. A value of 1 through 15indicates the hop count that will be advertised. A value of 0 or off turnsoff the advertisement. The default is off.Option Descriptionaccess_spec Uses the form [include | exclude] network_list whereinclude means advertise only the networks in network_list,and exclude means advertise all networks except those innetwork_list.
