Book C-61Chapter 2 Configuration ParametersRemote Annex Administrator’s Guide for UNIXBook Cgroup_valueThis Annex parameter specifies the LAT protocol remote group codesthat can access local services offered by an Annex. To access theseservices, the Annex must have at least one enabled group code thatmatches the service’s group codes. Valid options are all, none, a series ofnumbers between 0 and 255 separated by commas, or a range of numbersbetween 0 and 255 separated by dashes, followed by enabled or disabled. The default is all disabled.hardware_tabs (asynchronous)This asynchronous port parameter allows the Annex to convert ASCII tabcharacters to the correct number of spaces when a terminal does notsupport hardware tabs. This occurs only at the CLI level. A Y enablesthis parameter, an N disables it. The default is Y.hardware_tabs (parallel)This parallel printer port parameter enables the printer to use hardwaretab stops. When disabled, the Annex converts a tab character to thenumber of spaces necessary to reach the next tab stop. Y enables thisparameter, an N disables it. The default is N.host_table_sizeThis Annex parameter defines the number of entries allowed in the hosttable. Allowable values range from 0 to 255. Entering 255 allows anunlimited number of entries; entering 254 indicates that there is no hosttable. In this case, the Annex requires a name server to resolve every hostname. The default is 64.
