Magnification ratio chromatic aberration iscaused by differences in the in red (R), green (G), and blue(B) refractive indexes of a lens. The lens itself correctschromatic aberration but the astigmatism remains in thesurrounding area in particular. The zooming ratio, iris, andfocal distance involves complicated chromatic aberrationphenomena in a zoom lens. Images have registration errors.To correct the chromatic aberration, record the chromaticaberration characteristics of the lens for the zooming ratio,iris, and focal distance in the main unit of the camera-recorder and connect a lens suitable for thesecharacteristics.
