Subscriber’s Manual977.6 Recording MessagesThe Message Manager is responsible forrecording various system messages(menus, voice labels, system prompts,and system caller names) and is alsoresponsible for maintaining the following:•Company Greetings—A maximum of32 company greetings for business/non-business and lunch/break hoursas well as holidays can be selected,recorded, or deleted as necessary.•Company Name•Custom Service Menus (maximumlength: 6 min each)—A maximum of100 custom service menus can berecorded. These menus guide callersto the services they require withoutthe need for a human operator.•Voice Labels (maximum length: 6 mineach)—A maximum of 20 MailboxGroups can be created by the SystemAdministrator. Each list can have avoice label.•System Prompts (maximum length: 6min each)—The Message Managercan change system prompts byrecording new prompts and restoringthem.•Multilingual Selection Menu(maximum length: 6 min)—With thismenu, callers can select the languagethey prefer for voice guidance). Forexample, the Message Manager canrecord a menu that announces:For English, press (7).For French, press (8).For Chinese, press (9).•The System Caller Names (maximumlength: 10 s each)—A maximum of200 Caller ID numbers can beregistered by the SystemAdministrator. The Message Manageris responsible for recording a namefor each Caller ID number.•On Hold Announcement Menu(maximum length: 6 min)—With thismenu, callers in a queue can listen tothe announcement or music whilethey are on hold.NoteIf the VPS is being programmed viaKX-TVA Maintenance Console, theMessage Manager cannot record anymessages.
