44AUTO RGB INThis should normally be set to OFF.ONIf the input source has beenchanged to RGB, automatic setupautomatically detects whether theRGB1 or the RGB2 connector isbeing used to input the signal, andthe signals from the connector that itdetects are then projected.(If a picture is being projected, thesignal source is not automaticallychanged.)OFFUse this setting when you do notwant the signal source to bechanged automatically duringautomatic setup.RGB2 SELECTThis setting is used to select thefunction of the RGB2 IN/RGB1 OUTconnector.BACK COLORThis sets the color which isprojected onto the screen when nosignal is being input to the projector.FRONT/REARThis setting should be changed inaccordance with the projectorsetting-up method.Set to “FRONT” when using anormal reflective screen with theprojector positioned in front of thescreen, and set to “REAR” whenusing a translucent screen with theprojector positioned behind thescreen.DESK/CEILINGThis setting should be changed inaccordance with the projectorsetting-up method.Set to “DESK” when setting up theprojector on a desk or similar, andset to “CEILING” when suspendingthe projector from the ceiling usingthe ceiling bracket which is soldseparately.LAMP POWERThis setting changes the lampbrightness. When set to “LOW”, theluminance of the lamp is reduced, butthe projector uses less power, andthe operating noise is also reduced.This can help to extend the lamp’soperating life. If using the projector insmall rooms where high luminance isnot required, it is recommended thatyou set the LAMP POWER to “LOW”.LAMP RUN TIMEThis setting displays the usage timefor the lamp unit which is currentlybeing used. If the lamp unit isreplaced in the way described onpage 53, the cumulative usage timefor the lamp unit will be reset tozero.NOTE:• The lamp’s operating life variesdepending on the usage conditions(such as the LAMP POWER settingand the number of times the poweris turned on and off).FAN CONTROLIf using of this projector at highelevations (above 1400 m), set theFAN CONTROL to “HIGH”.
