The indicator starts to blink red, and thecooling fans keep running. At this time, you canunplug the AC power cord even if the fans arestill running.When the projector has cooled down enough,3 )the indicator stops blinking and youcan turn on the projector.NoteDo not put the projector in a case before the projector iszcooled enough.While the indicator is blinking, the lamp iszbeing cooled down and the projector cannot be turnedon. Wait until the indicator stops blinking toturn on the projector again.The projector can be turned on after the zindicator turns red. The waiting time to restart will beshortened when the normal power-off processing for fancooling is completed, compared with the time the ACpower cord is immediately unplugged after the power-off.J Direct Power Off functionEven if you turn off the buttonduring projection or just after the lamp turns off, thecooling fan will continue to rotate using internallystored power. In cases where the BY> switch is not easily accessible, such as duringceiling mount, you can safely turn off the power byusing the power breaker switch. This function alsoworks if a power outage occurs or if the power cableis accidentally disconnected from the outlet right afterturning the power off.NoteWhen using the Direct power Off function, you canznot restart the projector immediately after the power isdisconnected. The lamp remains high temperature andneeds to be cooled, so it sometimes takes longer timethan usual for the lamp to light up again.While the cooling fan is operating, do not place thezprojector inside a box or bag.Turning Off the ProjectorPower off? disappears after 4 seconds.
