ProjectingENGLISH - 35 Basic OperationThe focus assist bar will display different colors ac-cording to the clarity of image.Color stateRed The projected image is turning unclear.Yellow The projected image is turning clear.Blue The projected image is optimal.AttentionWhen the easy setting function is started, the focuszassist bar does not display blue color, even if thefocus adjustment is optimal. So readjust the focuswith rotating the focus ring.Then press the 5 )remote control or on the control panel.The adjustment image of [Screen fit] appears.z Screen frame detectedIf it detects a screen frame, [Screen Fit] functionis activated, the projected image is corrected to fitthe screen frame.Adjust the image to fit the screen according to the[Screen fit] function's different states.On 1 The aspect ratio of image will changeto fit the screen.On 2The aspect ratio of image will notchange, and no image area willappears in top/bottom sides or left/rightsides.Then the [Colorboard] function is activated to getan optimal image. [Corner correction] appearsand it can be adjusted manually if it is necessary.(Æpage 37)It will exit without any operation.z Screen frame undetectedIf it does not detect a screen frame, the [Keystone(Standard)] function starts to work and theprojected image can be adjust horizontally andvertically.Then the [Colorboard] function is activated to getan optimal image. [Keystone (Standard)] appearsand it can be adjusted manually if it is necessary.(Æpage 37)It will exit without any operation.The conditions of [Screen fit] function to adjust theprojected image as follows.items conditionsProjected imagesize 30" - 100" (after correction)Distance betweenprojector andscreenapprox. 0.7 to 3.5 m (whenexecute the keystone function,less than 2.5m)Correction angle approx. 20° right and left /approx.30° up and downAttentionIf the [Focus assist], [Screen fit] and [Colorboard]zfunctions are working, do not move the projector or blockthe image. The projected image will not be correctedproperly.Please adjust the [Corner correction] or [Keystonez(Standard)] manually, if you want to correct the projectedimage after the adjustment of [Screen fit]. (Æpage 37)Note[Screen fit] corrects the projected image when it detectsztwo or more sides inside the projected area, and fits thedetected frame.[Screen fit] may not work well in bright environments andzthe projected image is in low contrast. In this case, makethe room darker, and then try executing [Screen fit] again.Because [Screen fit] uses a sensor, it may not workzproperly depending on the condition of the projectionsurface (deflections, patterns, and so on), the distancebetween projector and screen, or the effects of outsidelight such as fluorescent. In this case, make theadjustments manually.It is recommended to use a black frame screen whenzusing [Screen fit] function.When the easy setting function does not complete,zmark will be displayed.0.7~3.5m30°20°20° |
