101VQT0T60Problem Check pointsAlthough this unit iscorrectly connected to aTV, playback imagescannot be seen.≥ Have you selected video input on the TV?> Please read the operating instructions of your TV andselect the channel that matches the input used for theconnection.Playback image is notclear.Sound breaks up ornoise affects the pictureand/or sound.≥ Noise may interfere with the picture and/or sound whenthe multi cable terminal becomes dirty. Wipe off any dirtwith a soft cloth, then connect to the multi-connector.Images played back onTV are cut.≥ Depending on the TV connected, the sides of the imagesbeing played may not appear. We recommend wideningthe recording range of the objects you want to recordbeforehand.Recorded pictures arenot clear.≥ Are you trying to record small or finely detailed objectswith [PICT.QUALITY] set at [ ]?> If you try to record small or finely detailed objects with[PICT.QUALITY] set at [ ], the images may break upinto a mosaic-like pattern. Record with [PICT.QUALITY]set at [ ] instead. (P53)A scene recorded on anSD card cannot bedeleted.≥ Is the scene locked?> Locked scenes cannot be deleted. (P65)≥ For the SD Memory Card, if its write protect switch is setto [LOCK], then deletion is disabled. (P16)The images on the SDcard do not look normal.≥ The data may be destroyed. It may have been destroyedby static or electromagnetic waves. Record importantdata on a PC or other equipment as well. If the power cannot beturned off, press the [RESET] button. You can alsoremove the battery and then reinsert it or disconnect theAC adaptor and then reconnect it. After that, turn on thepower again. If normal operation is still not restored,detach the power connected, and consult the dealer whoyou purchased this unit from.Even if an SD card isformatted, it cannot beused.≥ Either this unit or the SD card may be damaged. Pleaseconsult a dealer.
