13 – Library functions—Managing library entriesTASCAM DM-24 Reference Manual 1013 Use POD 4 to scroll through the list of entriesin the library.4 Press soft key 4 or the dedicated RECALL keyto recall the entry.If there is no data in the library entry, apopup message appears to show this, and nodata is recalled.Library undo/redoWhen library entries are recalled (“Library func-tions” on page 99), the 2ND F. key pressed togetherwith the RECALL key acts as an undo key, allowingthe recently recalled library setting to be comparedwith the previously-loaded library setting.Setting and editing titlesThe DM-24 provides titling facilities for the libraryentries. These are available when an entry is firststored, or when the EDIT soft key (3) is pressed fromthe library screen.Library entries may have a name consisting of up to16 characters.Use POD 4 to scroll through the list of library entries.When a library entry is stored it is given a defaultname (for instance FROM CH12 would be used todescribe an EQ setting which had been saved fromthe current settings on channel 12).If the entry highlighted in the list at the right of thescreen already has a name which is to be edited, usethe dial to pick the ÄNAME special command andpress ENTER. This copies the entry name to thename editing area.Use the cursor keys to navigate the cursor around thename editing area on the left of the screen.Pick letters and symbols from the list below the nameediting area. Press ENTER to insert the highlightedsymbol into the name editing area.It is also possible to use the SCREEN MODE/NUMERIC ENTRY keys to enter numbers directlyinto the title.Use the special commands as follows:INSERT – inserts a space at the cursor positionDELETE – deletes the character at the cursor position<-NAME – as explained above, this copies the existingname of the highlighted data entry to the name edit-ing area.NAME-> – this copies the edited name to the high-lighted entry in the list at the right of the screen.Xtion-> and <-Xtion – snapshots only. This is not partof the name, but represents the transition time to loada snapshot. This is edited using POD 2 and can be setfrom 0.0 seconds to 9.9 seconds, in 0.1 second inter-vals. Use these two on-screen options to move thetransition time from and to the editing area, respec-tively.When the name is edited, use the STORE soft key (2)to store the name (and the transition time in the caseof snapshots). Note that this does not store the snap-shot, but only the name, etc.Use the CANCEL soft key (3) to cancel the name edit-ing operation.
