See “Setting up the I/O” onpage 36.The on-screen controls available in the common areaare:Dynamics controlsThe exact controls and display vary, depending onwhat channel has been selected (see “Dynamics pro-cessors” on page 63 for full details of the availabilityof dynamics processors for the different modules ofthe DM-24):Gate/Expander An on-screen button allows thegate/expander to be switched, with a gain reductionmeter displayed.Compressor An on-screen button allows the com-pressor to be turned on and off (ENTER key), with adynamics graph. The gain reduction meter alsoapplies to the compressor.The appearance of this button changes, depending onwhat link option has been selected (see “LINK L->R” on page 64):Compressor insert point The compressor canbe inserted either pre- or post-EQ (channels).
