TROUBLESHOOTINGINDEXCONTENTSINDEXCONTENTS 6464Windows-specific problemsThe computer does not goto sleep.When you are not using your Intuos3 input tool(s), remove them from thetablet surface or the tablet will continue to send data, keeping the computerawake.When using the tablet thescreen cursor is veryerratic or jumps around.On rare occasions the tablet may receive interfering radio frequencies froma computer monitor or nearby AM radio station. If you notice interferencefrom a monitor, try moving the tablet at least 6 inches away from themonitor, or change the monitor refresh rate or monitor resolution.The Intuos3 Pen does notwork on the tablet TouchStrip.Remember that the pen is active in a narrow band along the Touch Stripedge closest to the tablet’s active area.The tablet has stoppedworking. The pen nolonger turns the statusLED green, or the LED isalways green.Your tablet may need to be recalibrated to regain normal function. Do notuninstall the driver or delete the tablet preferences. Contact the Wacomsupport staff for the area where your product was purchased. See theWacom tablet Read Me file, located on your computer or on the WacomTablet CD, for contact information.Windows 98 or Me.Your Intuos3 tools do notfunction inside a full screenDOS window.You must use a traditional mouse when working in a full screenDOS window.After pressingC TRL+ALT+D EL, the screencursor cannot be controlledwith your Intuos3 tool.When the C LOSE PROGRAM dialog box (Windows 98, or Me) is active, thetablet will not work. Use your traditional mouse or keyboard to continue.When this dialog box is closed, you can again use your Intuos3 tool tocontrol the screen cursor.After changing right- andleft- handed settings in thecomputer’s mouse controlpanel, the pen tip no longerfunctions properly andIntuos3 Mouse tool buttonfunctions are reversed.This action will reverse the right and left button settings on your Wacomtools. Restart Windows for your Wacom tool settings to be correctlyrecognized.Windows XP. Afterinstalling the tablet on asystem with multiple users,the tablet only works onthe primary user desktop.Reboot the system after installing the tablet on a system with multiple users.
