3 How long willthe food taketo cook?Turn the selector knob to'Cook'. Then turn the settingknob until the length of timeyou want the food to cookshows in the display. Themaximum cooking time is10 hours. 'Auto' will show inthe display.4 What time doyou want thefood to becooked by?Turn the selector knob to'Stop'. Turn the setting knobuntil the time the oven is toswitch off shows in thedisplay. The cookpot ( )will go out.The 'Stop' must not bemore than 23 hours 59minutes from the time ofday. For example if the timeof day is 9.00 am the latest'Stop' time will be 8.59 amthe next day.5 Set toautomatic.Turn the selector knob to'Auto'.6 Turn on theoven control.Turn the oven control tomark 9 then to the gas markyou want.The time shown on the chart gives an example of setting the automaticcontrols when the time is 9.00 am, the food is to be cooked for 2½ hoursand the food is needed at 6.00 pm (1800 hours).The clock will work out what time the oven will switch itself on and it willturn the oven off at the end.
