496 CHAPTER 12: GENERATING R EPORTSGenerating a RogueSummary ReportThe rogue summary report lists information about rogues.The data for this report comes from the monitoring service. The EnableRogue Detection option, located in the Rogue Detection group box ofthe Monitoring Settings tab, must be enabled. (See “ChangingMonitoring Settings” on page 552.)1 Select Reports > Rogue Summary from the toolbar in the main 3WXMwindow.The Rogue Summary Report dialog box appears.2 Select the scope type of the report from the Report Scope Type listbox:■ Mobility Domain■ Site■ Building■ Floor3 Select the instance for which you want the report. For example, if thescope is Building, select the building.4 Select the time period for the report:■ 1 Hour■ 24 Hours■ 7 Days■ 30 Days5 To change the output directory for the report, click on the button next tooutput directory, navigate to the new directory, and click Select.6 To prevent 3WXM from replacing an existing report of the same type withthis new report, click next to Overwrite Existing Files to deselect thisoption.7 Click Generate.8 When the report is generated, click the report link to view it.The report lists the BSSIDs of the rogues detected by each WX switch. Thereport also shows graphs of the distribution of rogues on the WXswitches, and of trend data.
