Table 77 presents a brief description of eachauxiliary file.Table 77 Auxiliary Files DescriptionsFile Type DescriptionFXS Coefficient This file contains the telephony interface configuration information for the VoIPgateway. This information includes telephony interface characteristics, such as DC andAC impedance, feeding current and ringing voltage. This file is specific to the type oftelephony interface that the VoIP gateway supports. In most cases you have to loadthis type of file.Use the parameter CountryCoefficients (described in Table 49) to configurethe FXO coefficients.Call ProgressTonesThis is a region-specific, telephone exchange-dependent file that contains the CallProgress Tones levels and frequencies that the VoIP gateway uses. The default CPTfile is: U.S.A.Prerecorded Tones The dat PRT file enhances the gateways capabilities of playing a wide range oftelephone exchange tones that cannot be defined in the Call Progress Tones file.User Information The User Information file maps PBX extensions to IP numbers. This file can be used torepresent PBX extensions as IP phones in the global IP world.
