5-102container Commandscontainer set global_failoverTo assign an automatic failover disk(s) for all arrays, use thecontainer set global_failover command. If the array wasalready assigned a failover disk(s), the command adds the specifieddisk(s) to the array’s list of failover disk(s). Although all array typesaccept failover assignments, only mirror set and RAID-5 set(redundant) array types use the failover assignment if a disk fails.Syntaxcontainer set global_failover {scsi_device}[{scsi_device}...]Parameters{scsi_device}Specifies the ID for the SCSI device that you want to assign as afailover disk. The command assigns this disk to all arrays. ASCSI ID consists of a SCSI channel number (for example, 0, 1, 2,3, etc.), a SCSI device ID (0 through 15 inclusive), and a SCSIdevice logical unit number (0 through 7 inclusive). See thescsi_device section on page 3-7 for more information onhow to specify the SCSI device.{scsi_device}...Specifies the ID(s) for additional SCSI device(s) that you wantto assign as failover disk(s) to all arrays.ExamplesBefore assigning a SCSI device as a failover disk to all arrays, use thecontainer list command to obtain information about anyexisting arrays. As the following example shows, there is an array 0(a mirror set) on this controller:AAC0>container listExecuting: container listNum Total Oth Stripe Scsi PartitionDr Label Type Size Ctr Size Usage C:ID:L Offset:Size-- ----- ------ ------ --- ------ ------- ------ -------------0 Mirror 15.0MB None 1:02:0 64.0KB: 15.0MBTigris 1:03:0 64.0KB: 15.0MB
