5-29container Commands The Type column displays RAID-5 to indicate that the newlycreated array is a RAID-5 set. The Total Size column displays the total size of the freespaceavailable. In this example, 40.0 MB of freespace was specified,which means that this column displays 30.0 MB as available. The Stripe Size column displays the stripe size you specifiedas the stripe_size parameter, which in the example is 64KB. The Usage column displays None to indicate that the newlycreated RAID-5 set does not have a file system on it.To createan NTFS or FAT file system on an array, use the containerformat command. The State column displays the state of an array, which in theexample shows Unprot to indicate that the RAID-5 set is notyet redundant. This means that the command has notcompleted the creation of the RAID-5 set. If the containerlist command is executed after the RAID-5 set completesexecution, the State column is blank.(Note that this column appears only if you specify the /full switchwith the container list command.) The Scsi C:ID:L column displays the SCSI device ID(s) for thedisk(s) on which you created the RAID-5 set, which in theexample are: 0:02:0, 0:03:0, 0:04:0, and 0:05:0.
