107Using NavigationSelect the letters one after the other by turning theright rotary control and press the control to con-firm. The selected letter appears enlarged at theright of the display.Use multifunction button to delete the lastconfirmed letter.The complete entry can be deleted by pressingmultifunction button for more than2 seconds.Already entered letters are displayed inversely.For your help, the centre most similar to the entryso far is displayed. The unit offers only the possi-ble remaining letters for selection. If no other en-tries are available, the unit completes the centre-name.To accept the entry, press and hold the right rotarycontrol for more than 2 seconds or select thesmall check mark and briefly press the right ro-tary control .Once the complete centre name is entered or auto-matically completed, the programme returns to thedestination entry.The programme switches to the centre list if the se-lection is ambiguous.The centre most similar to the entry appears in cap-ital letters in the centre list.The scroll marks indicate that other centres, sortedin alphabetical order, can be selected.Select the centre by turning the right rotarycontrol and press the control to confirm.The programme returns to the Destination Entrymenu.If you select Start... the route calculation isstarted.Note:By pressing the right rotary control for longerthan 2 seconds without previously entering a letter,a list of the possible location centres will immedi-ately appear.Entering street number for destina-tion roadThis function can only be selected if this informa-tion is contained in the navigation CD.Select House number in the Destination Entrymenu with the right rotary control, and press thecontrol to confirm.The street numbers are compiled into streetnumber ranges. If there are fewer than 10 streetnumber ranges, the street number range list is dis-played.Select your street number range by turning theright rotary control and press the control to con-firm.
