136Telephone mode• Car License PlateAfter the number has been dialled, enter yourvehicle licence number.Enter your vehicle licence number. Entry is thesame as for entering a new name for a newtelephone book entry (Seite 131).When you have entered the complete licencenumber, store your entry by pressing andholding the right rotary control .• Car registration countryNext, select the country in which your vehicle isregistered.Turn the right rotary control to select thecountry of registration. The country is selectedand stored by pressing the right rotary control.SettingsIn the Telephone Settings menu, telephone-specif-ic settings can be made.Note:Not all of the function described may be supportedby the network provider.To call up the Telephone Settings menu, pressthe key in the Communications menu.Select Telephone with the right rotary controland press the control to confirm.For telephone-specific settings, selection ofCall settings,Telephone settings,PIN settings,Call forwarding,SMS (see also page 145) andBlockcan be made by turning, and confirmed by press-ing, the right rotary control .Call settingsIn the Telephone Settings menu, select Call-settings with the right rotary control andpress the control to confirm.A selection fromAutomatic redial,Transmit own number andAccept call automatic.can be made by turning, and confirmed by press-ing, the right rotary control .Briefly press the right rotary control to selectOn ( ) or Off ( ).Pressing the right rotary control for more than2 seconds accepts all settings and exits the menu.• Automatic redial (Automatic redial)If a dialled number is busy, the number will beredialled automatically 3 times in intervals of1 minute if function ( ) is active.If another number is dialled or accepted withinthat period, the automatic redial is cancelled.• Transmit own numberWhen the function is active ( ) your numberwill be sent to the person you are calling.
