153Internet (WAP) FunctionsLoading Access ProfilesThe default access profile is the one for theGerman mobile telephone network T-D1. If you donot use T-D1, please see ”Create new profile” onpage 151 for a description of how to set up aprofile for your network provider. You can alsoupload other access profiles to your unit directlyfrom the BeckerClub:Call up the Communications menu by pressingthe button.Press the multifunction button.A WAP connection will be made to theBeckerClub homepage.Select [BeckerClub] by turning and pressingthe right rotary control.Next, select [Provisioning] by turning andpressing the right rotary control.Now follow the instructions on the WAP page.Profiles can be selected and loaded for differentcountries.URL SettingThis is where you set up the information to becalled up when entering URLs, to simplify entries.In the Browser Settings, select URL settingswith the right rotary control.SelectSelect URL beginning orSelect URL endingby turning the right rotary control . Selection isconfirmed by pressing the control.Selecting URL prefix:By turning the right rotary control , select Se-lect URL beginning and press the control toconfirm.A list of the possible URL prefixes will be dis-played.By turning the right rotary control , select thedesired URL prefix and press the control to con-firm.If No is selected, no URL prefix will appear whenan URL is entered. You must then enter the prefixyourself.Selecting URL suffix:By turning the right rotary control , select Se-lect URL ending and press the control to con-firm.A list of the possible URL suffixes will be dis-played.By turning the right rotary control select the de-sired URL suffix and press the control to confirm.If No is selected, no URL suffix will appear whenURL is to be entered. You must then enter the suf-fix yourself.Specifying browser start settingsWhen you activate your WAP access function,some network providers will take you to their ownInternet pages before the page you have actuallyselected. You can disable this by activating the"Browser start settings" function.In the Browser Settings, select Browser startsettings with the right rotary control.By turning the right rotary control select eitherYes or No (the inverted entry is active) and pressto confirm.
