Express-Down WindowThis feature is on all the power windows. Press the downarrow on the switch to the second position to activate theexpress-down feature. If you want to stop the window asit is lowering, press the down arrow on the switch again.Express-Up WindowThis feature is on both front power windows. Press the uparrow on the switch to the second position to activate theexpress-up feature. If you want to stop the window as it israising, press the up arrow on the switch again.Programming the Power WindowsIf the battery on your vehicle has been recharged,disconnected or is not working, you will need toreprogram each front power window for the express-upfeature to work. Before reprogramming, you will needto replace or recharge your vehicle’s battery.To program each window, follow these steps:1. With the ignition in ACCESSORY, ON or whenRetained Accessory Power (RAP) is active,press and hold the down arrow on the powerwindow switch until the window has fully opened.2. Press the up arrow on the power window switchuntil the window is fully closed.3. Continue holding up arrow on the switch forapproximately two seconds after the windowis completely closed.The window is now reprogrammed. Repeat the processfor the other front window.Anti-Pinch FeatureIf any object is in the path of the window when theexpress-up feature is active, the window will stop atthe obstruction and auto-reverse to a preset factoryposition. Weather conditions such as severe icing mayalso cause the window to auto-reverse. The windowwill return to normal operation once the obstruction orcondition is removed.{CAUTION:If express override is activated, the windowwill not reverse automatically. You or otherscould be injured and the window could bedamaged. Before you use express override,make sure that all people and obstructionsare clear of the window path.2-16
