See “Exit Recall” later inthis section.Storing Memory PositionsTo save into memory:1. Adjust the driver seat, outsidemirrors, and the power steeringcolumn, if equipped, to thedesired driving positions.2. Press and hold “1” untiltwo beeps sound.3. Repeat for a second driverusing “2.”To recall memory positions, pressand release “1” or “2.” The vehiclemust be in P (Park) for an automatictransmission, or the parking brakemust be applied for a manualtransmission. A single beep willsound when the button is pressed.The seat, outside mirrors, and/orpower steering column will move tothe position previously stored for theidentified driver.If entry/exit recall is programmed onin the vehicle personalization menu,automatic entry recall occurs whenthe ignition is turned on.See Memory Seats on page 38and Vehicle Personalization onpage 548.Exit RecallB : Press to move the driver seatback a preset distance and/or thepower steering column, if equipped,up and forward. A single beepsounds when the exit featureactivates. The vehicle must bein P (Park) for an automatictransmission, or the parking brakemust be applied for a manualtransmission.If entry/exit recall is programmed onin the vehicle personalization menu,automatic seat and/or steeringcolumn movement occurs undercertain conditions.
