Also checkfor damaged tires or wheels.See When It Is Time for NewTires on page 1082 and WheelReplacement on page 1088.Directional tires should not berotated. Each tire and wheelshould be used only in theposition it is in. Directional tireswill have an arrow on the tireindicating the proper direction ofrotation or will have “left” or“right” molded on the sidewall.Use this rotation pattern if thevehicle has different size tireson the front and rear and theyare non-directional.Different tire sizes should not berotated front to rear.Use this rotation pattern whenrotating tires of the same sizeinstalled on all four wheelpositions.If the vehicle has a compactspare tire, do not include it in thetire rotation.Adjust the front and rear tiresto the recommended inflationpressure on the Tire andLoading Information label afterthe tires have been rotated.
