Connecting to a ComputerE-142You can transfer rhythm data from other models by loading itfrom a memory card, or by using Data Manager to transfer thedata from a computer to Digital Keyboard memory. Forinformation about actual operations, see “Importing Data fromVarious Storage Media” (page E-142).• Use of a memory card with a capacity that is less than 2GBis not supported. If you want to use other model rhythmdata that is on a memory card with capacity less than 2GB,you need either to copy the data to a supported memorycard on the Digital Keyboard, or use Data Manager totransfer the data from a computer to the Digital Keyboard. For more information, see “Importing Data from VariousStorage Media” (page E-142). Also note that rhythm datafrom some models needs to be converted before it can beused on this Digital Keyboard. For more information, see“Rhythm Data Compatibility” (page E-141).The procedure you need to use to import or transfer rhythmdata to Digital Keyboard memory depends on the media(computer local disk, memory card) where the data iscurrently stored. This section explains each of the requiredprocedures.• For details about Data Manager, see “Storing and LoadingDigital Keyboard Memory Data” (page E-141).• For information about the types of memory cards supportedby the Digital Keyboard, see “Using a Memory Card” (pageE-131).Perform one of the procedures below, depending on the typeof data you want to load.Importing and Transferring Rhythm Datafrom Other ModelsImporting Data from VariousStorage MediaTo load rhythm data into Digital KeyboardmemoryIf the data is onthis type ofmedia:Do this:Computer localdisk1.
