Oncethe troughs have cooled, they may be lifted out for easiercleaning.To remove the cool grease trough from the griddle, slideit toward the front and lift up.Do not allow grease to accumulate in the greasetroughs as it can be a fire hazard. Clean the greasetroughs as soon as they are cool. The grease troughscan be cleaned by hand with hot soapy water or in thedishwasher. Wipe any spillage in the trough basin with asoft cloth.For stability, the troughs have rubber pads at the front.Be careful not to damage the pads when removing forcleaning.Thoroughly clean the griddle of grease and food particles,using a square-edged metal spatula, while it is still hot.Wipe the griddle with a dry, heavy, coarse cloth toremove any remaining residue and food particles. If thegriddle is cleaned with anything other than a dry, heavy,coarse cloth, it will need to be reseasoned.Never flood the hot griddle with cold water. This couldcause the griddle to crack or warp.NOTE: It is normal for the stainless steel griddle todiscolor to a yellow-brown color after use.Wash the bamboo cutting board with warm water and amild soap. Occasionally, wipe it with mineral oil.Do not clean the cutting board in the dishwasher.Optional Accessories
