41Troubleshooting en-usReplacing the oven lampYou can replace the oven lamps. You can obtainreplacement lamps after-sales service or from tradedealers. Use the same type of halogen bulbs only.▯ Top lamp:60 W/230 V/G9▯ Side lamp: 10 W/12 V/G49 WARNINGRisk of electric shock!When you replace the oven interior lamp, thecontacts of the lamp holder are live. Beforereplacing the lamp, remove the power plug ordeactivate the circuit breaker or fuse in the fusebox.9 WARNINGRisk of burns!Lamps become very hot when switched on. Thereis still a risk of burning your skin for some timeafter they have been switched off. Allow lamps tocool down before replacing them.Note: Always use a dry cloth to remove the halogen lampfrom its packaging. This lengthens the lamp's useful life.Replacing the top oven lamp1. Undo the screw on the lamp cover. The lamp coverfolds down.2. Take out the halogen lamp. Insert the new halogenlamp.3. Fold up and screw down the lamp cover.4. Switch on the fuse in the fuse box again.Replacing the side oven lamp1. Place a dishcloth in the oven to avid damage.2. Undo the knurled screws on the slide-in rack. Removethe slide-in rack.3. Press the top retaining spring to the side. Remove theglass cover.4. Take out the halogen lamp. Insert the new halogenlamp.5. Insert the glass cover at the bottom into the retainingspring and latch it at the top. The beveled side of theglass cover must point toward the oven.6. Remove the dishcloth from the oven.7. Switch on the fuse in the fuse box again.Replacing the glass coverThe glass cover in the oven must be replaced if it isdamaged. You can obtain covers from after-sales service.Always specify the E number and the FD number of yourappliance.
