Interior surfaces ofan oven become hot enough to causeburns. During and after use, do not touch,or let clothing, potholders, or otherflammable materials contact heatingelements or interior surfaces of oven untilthey have had sufficient time to cool.Other surfaces of the appliance maybecome hot enough to cause burns.Among these surfaces are oven ventopenings, surfaces near these openingsand oven doors.Exercise caution when opening theappliance. Ensure that theappliance door does not swing back.Avoid contact with the inside of theappliance door.Do not heat or warm unopened foodcontainers. Build-up of pressure maycause the container to burst and causeinjury.Use caution when cooking foods withhigh alcohol content (e.g. rum, brandy,bourbon) in the oven. Alcohol evaporatesat high temperatures. There is a risk ofburning as the alcohol vapors may catchfire in the oven. Use only small quantitiesof alcohol in foods, and open the ovendoor carefully.Always place oven racks in desiredlocation while oven is cool. Always useoven mitts, when the oven is warm. If arack must be moved while oven is hot, donot let potholder contact the heatingelements.9 CAUTIONTo avoid possible injury or damageto the appliance, ensure rack isinstalled exactly per installationinstructions and not backwards orupside down.Always use dry potholders. Moist or damppotholders on hot surfaces may result inburns from steam. Do not let potholdertouch hot heating elements. Do not use atowel or other bulky cloth.Secure all loose garments, etc. beforebeginning. Tie long hair so that it doesnot hang loose, and do not wear loosefitting clothing or hanging garments, suchas ties, scarves, jewelry, or danglingsleeves.
