CHECK CALIBRATING HYDROSTATICTRANSMISSION (IMAGE 3 AND ANNEX 1)Do the calibration of the hydrostatic transmission withthe hydraulic oil at 60°C. Connect a 0-60 bar manometer to the mini-socketTP3 to read the boost pressure (see image 3). Connect a 0-60 bar manometer to the mini-socketTP2 to read high pressure (see image 3).WARNINGDuring this operation, the operator has to be on theside of the machine. Hold the selector to neutral position and make surethe maximum speed of the engine does not exceed2350 giri/min. The engine must run at a idle speed of950 rpm. Otherwise, adjust the minimum speed. Read the boost pressure on manometer TP3 andensure it is about 24 bar with the engine running atidle speed. The boost pressure has not a fixed value but variesfrom pump to pump. (from 20 to 29 bar) Hold the machine blocked using the brake pedal, disconnecting the incing electrical connection locatedon the service brake under the cab. Set the forward-neutral-reverse selector to theforward position. Run the engine at maximum speed. Check the high-pressure value on the manometerTP2 is 425 bar. Press down on the service brake by left foot. Set the forward or reverse speed. Run the engine at maximum speed. With engine at minimum rpm on M4, the value ofmanometer is equal to the value of boost pressure.Running the engine at maximum speed, the valueof manometer rises and the piloting hoses are wellconnected: the M4 pump to the XB engine, the M5pump to the XA engine.4. CALIBRATING THE POWER STEERING Fit a coupling complete with mini-socket Z in theposition shown in annex 2. Fit a 0-250 bar manometer to the mini-socket Z. Select the front axle steering mode. Move the steering cylinder to stroke end and makesure the value of the power steering A is 170 bar.If the value is less, tighten valve X; if the value isgreater, loosen the valve.N.B.: To gain access to valve X, remove theprotection cap (annex 3).Courtesy of Crane.Market
