Document 57.4403.4200 GTH-4013 SX GTH-4017 SX 17May 2008 Section 4 - Maintenance ProceduresTABLE AA-15 CHECK THE EFFICENCY OF BRAKINGSYSTEM (STANDARD ISO 6292)1 CHECK PARKING BRAKE:- Load the maximum payload onto the forks (4000Kg).- Retract boom and forks fully.- Lift the forks at about 50 cm on the ground.- Stop the machine on a sloped surface of about 15%(8.5°). If possible, use a oscillating axle.- Engage the parking brake.Check the parking brake with the forward or reverse gearput and ensure the machine is stopped.2 CHECK SERVICE BRAKE- Load the maximum payload onto the forks (4000Kg).- Retract boom and forks fully. .- Lift the forks at about 50 cm on the ground.- Ensure the space is enough to stop the machine.- Start the machine at maximum speed.- Brake using the service brake until the machine iscompletely stopped.- Measure the space between the beginning and theend of the raking.- Maximum value: meter 12,4 for GTH 4013 SX; meter12,4 for GTH 4017 SX (see TEST REPORT cod.57.1400.8105)1.1 With fork12Courtesy of Crane.Market
