10914 OTHER FUNCTIONS SET MODE itemsDD Time-out timerTo prevent accidental prolonged transmission, etc., the trans-ceiver has a time-out timer. This function cuts a transmissionOFF after 1, 3 or 5 min. of continuous transmission. This timercan be cancelled.• OFF : The time-out timer is turned OFF. (default)• 1, 3, 5 MIN : The transmission is cut OFF after the setperiod elapses.DD Auto power OFFThe transceiver can be set to automatically turn OFF after aspecified period with a beep when no key operations are per-formed.30 min, 60 min, 120 min and OFF (default) can be specified.The specified period is retained even when the transceiver isturned OFF by the auto power OFF function. To cancel thefunction, select “OFF” in this set mode.DD PTT lockTurns the PTT lock function ON and OFF(default.)Transmission with [PTT] is inhibited when ON is selected toprevent accidental transmission, etc.DD Busy lockoutTurns the busy lockout function ON and OFF(default.)This function inhibits transmission while receiving a signal orwhen the squelch is openDD Auto repeaterThe auto repeater function automatically turns ON or OFF theduplex operation and tone encoder. The offset and repeatertone is not changed by the auto repeater function. Resetthese frequencies, if necessary.U.S.A. version:• OFF : The auto repeater function is turned OFF.• RPT1 : Activates for duplex only. (default)• RPT2 : Activates for duplex and tone.Korean version:• OFF : Deactivates the function.• ON : Activates duplex and tone. (default)DD Fan controlSelects the cooling fan control condition from AUTO, HI, MIDand LOW.• AUTO : The fan rotates during transmit and for 2 min.after transmission.(default)• HI : The high power fan continuously rotates.• MID : The middle power fan continuously rotates.• LOW : The low power.fan continuously rotates.U.S.A./KOREAN versions only
