Refer to“INDICATOR LIST” {p. 67} .SELECTING THE SCRAMBLER CODE1 Press the button programmed as [Scrambler/ Encryption Code] to enterScrambler/ Encryption Code Mode.Alternatively, press the button programmed as [Menu] to enter Scrambler/ EncryptionCode Mode using the Menu Mode.2 Press the [J] and [K] buttons to increase or decrease the Scrambler code.● Up to 16 Scrambler codes can be used.3 Press the [ ] or [ ] button to set the new Scrambler code.SELECTING THE ENCRYPTION KEY1 Press the button programmed as [Scrambler/ Encryption Code] to enterScrambler/ Encryption Code Mode.Alternatively, press the button programmed as [Menu] to enter Scrambler/ EncryptionCode Mode using the Menu Mode.2 Select the new Encryption key using the [J] and [K] buttons.● Up to 32 Encryption keys can be used. One of these keys will be used duringtransmission.3 Press the [ ] or [ ] button to set the new Encryption key.Note:● In NXDN systems, a key error will be displayed when a Key ID which is 0x40 and aboveis selected for the AES/DES encryption function.● To restore to the default Encryption key, select “Preset”. However, if you delete theEncryption key, it will not be recovered.40
