Items Required to Install• TK-7180/ 8180• GPS 15L (Input Voltage: 5 V)• Cushion Tape3.6.1 Configuration of GPS-15L1. Remove the cables from the unit if it is attached2. Prepare the cushion having a double-sided adhesivetape.The cushion tape (No. 4016 or No. 4416)manufactured by 3M is recommended.3. Cut out 4 cushion tapes as the GPS-15L (30 mm x 25mm) size.Note:# The 3M cushion tape having a double-sided adhesive tape hasfollowing thickness.No. 4016 (or No. 4016): 1.6 mm (1/16 inch)No. 4416 (or No. 4416): 1.6 mm (1/16 inch)# The above sizes are reference values. You must cut the cushiontape out the same size as the GPS Receiver board.4. Attach the cushion tape to the GPS-15L.3.6.2 Install GPS-15L to TK-7180/ 81801. Remove the shielding plate of the TK-7180/ 8180transceivers.• Pull and remove the top cover by lifting two tabslocated at the side of the cover.• Remove the top rubber packing.• Remove 4 screws and the shielding plate.2. Remove the panel.Lift the rear panel by widening two side tabs, using a flat-head screw driver, or etc. Then, pull upward to removethe rear panel from the transceiver body3. Remove the flat cable.• Remove the cable from the connector on the PCBboard.• Remove the cable from the panel.4. Solder the power wire of the GPS board at thispositions (5C) for 5V.
