(No need when installing the operating systemwith the Express Setup.)– ROM-DOS Startup FDCreates a support disk for starting the ROM-DOS system.– Off-line Maintenance Utility Bootable FDCreates a support disk for activating the Off-line Maintenance Utility.– System Management FDCreates a support disk for activating the System Management. Setup Maintenance PartitionMaintenance partition is a specific partition for the server and created on your system disk.About 55MB of the maintenance partition includes the various maintenance utilities andexecutable commands.In this menu, you can create the maintenance partition, install the various utilities, andupdate the utilities. The maintenance utilities installed in the maintenance partition aresystem diagnostics, System Management, and Off-line Maintenance Utility.IMPORTANT: Do not reset or turn off the server while the running this menu. Ifthe processing is discontinued, the system becomes unable to start. The existence of the maintenance partition may be identified fromthe operating system. In order to retain the Configuration Data,do not delete the partition.NOTES: The maintenance partition, once created, will not be recreatedagain. When the maintenance partition does not exist, some menu itemsdo not appear.– Create Maintenance PartitionNEC EXPRESSBUILDER creates about 55MB of the maintenance partition on thesystem disk (or disk array system) as work area. The various utilities are installedwhen the maintenance partition is created successfully or when the maintenancepartition is already created.
