One of the routers is designated as the Master, while the others are backups. VRRP is aprotocol that provides redundancy to routers within a local area network by allowing alternate paths for a PCwithout changing the IP address or MAC address by which the PC knows its gateway.A Virtual Router cannot be enabled unless it is populated with a Virtual ID and a Virtual IP address. The VirtualRouter index starts from 1 (one).
