Hold the device as you wouldany other telephone with theantenna area pointed up and overyour shoulder.Note: As with any other radiotransmitting device, do nottouch the antennaunnecessarily when thedevice is switched on.Contact with the antennaaffects call quality and maycause the device to operateat a higher power level thanotherwise needed. Avoidcontact with the antennaarea when operating thedevice to optimise antennaperformance and battery life.■ The batteryImportant: Always switchthe device off anddisconnect the chargerbefore removing the battery.Before removing the cover, alwaysswitch off the power and disconnectthe charger and any other device.Avoid touching electroniccomponents while changing thecovers. Always store and use thedevice with the covers attached.Remove the back cover1. With the back of the devicefacing you, push down on thebutton on the back of the device.2. Slide the back cover toward thebottom of the device and remove.
