Enter the new PIN code again,and press OK.Personal unblocking key (PUK)codeThe PUK code is used to restore ablocked PIN code. The PUK code is 8characters in length and cannot bechanged. The PUK code must beobtained from your wireless networkoperator.Important: If you enter anincorrect PUK code 10 timesin succession, the UIM cardis declined and can no longerbe used. You must contactyour wireless networkoperator for a new UIM card.Voice privacyVoice privacy is a network service.See "Network Services", page 9. Ifyour wireless network operatorsupports this feature, the voiceprivacy feature protects the privacyof your current phone conversationfrom other callers placing phonecalls on your same network.In the standby mode, select Menu >Settings > Security settings > Accesscodes > Voice privacy > On or Off.■ NetworkThe menu options you see in yourdevice are based on your networkoperator’s network. The networkdetermines which options actuallyappear in the device menu. Checkwith your network operator for moreinformation.The Network menu allows you tocustomise the way your devicechooses a network in which tooperate while you are within oroutside of your primary or homesystem. Your device is set to searchfor the most cost-effective network.If your device cannot find a preferrednetwork, it selects a networkautomatically based on the optionyou choose in the Network menu.1. In the standby mode, select Menu> Settings > Network > roamingoptions.2. Select one of the following:Home only—You can make andreceive calls in your home areaonly.Automatic—The phoneautomatically roams to anotherdigital network. The roaming rateapplies when not in the homeservice area.3. Press OK, if necessary, to confirmthe activation.
