Any node in the network may have itsattendant services located at any other node in the network, part-time orfull-time.The activation of Network Attendant Service is controlled by the NAS key onthe Attendant Console. When a call is presented to an attendant and the NASkey is not activated, the call receives normal attendant service. If the NAS keyis activated, the call receives alternate treatment, based on one of the NASconditions described below.
