Attendant and Network Wide Remote Call Forward Page 191 of 1814International ISDN PRI Feature description and administrationBRISince ISDN BRI sets do not support Flexible Feature Codes (FCCs), RemoteCall Forward is not supported on BRI sets.Multiple Appearance DNsThe RCFW feature only applies to the primary appearances of MultipleAppearance DNs, and it is recommended that only one appearance of aMultiple Appearance DN be configured as the prime DN.Network operation of the RCFW feature simply provides network access tothe stand-alone RCFW feature, therefore the requirement that only one primeDN per Multiple Appearance DN also applies to the network-based RCFWfeature. However, with the stand-alone set-based RCFW feature, there is no code inplace to explicitly prohibit the configuration of Multiple Appearance DNswith the same prime DN and Station Controlled Passwords (SCPWs) ondifferent stations. No code is added for the network or attendantimplementation of this feature. As such, in the event that multiple stations areconfigured with the same prime DN, the set-based network RCFW Featureoperation will be the same as that for stand-alone RCFW Feature operation. For the case of multiple stations with the same prime DN and SCPW, theRCFW operation will apply to the station that has the Multiple AppearanceRedirection Prime (MARP) assigned to it.If none of the stations having the DN and SCPW assigned are configured asthe MARP TN for that DN, the RCFA and RCFD will apply to all stationsmatching the DN and SCPW. RCFW will apply to the station with MADNcall presentation priority (i.e., the station with the last service change is placedat the end of the list). The attendant-based RCFW feature will only apply to remote call forwardoperation to the prime DN with MARP status. If the DN is not the prime DNor does not have MARP status, overflow tone will be received by the user.Call Forward Activation from any Feature/Call Forward and BusyStatusThere are no direct conflicts with either of these features and the RCFWfeature.
