A Connected Line Identification that is generated ortandemed is constructed in the same manner as the EuroISDN user modeconnectivity. A Connected Line Identification that is received is displayed onthe called user’s display, if call presentation is allowed.Even though the EuroISDN Trunk - Network Side connectivity acts as thenetwork side of the Central Office connectivity, it does not provide thenetwork functions (screening and validation) for the Connected LineIdentification service.Calling Party PrivacyIf a number presentation for a call is blocked by the Calling Party Privacyfeature, the CLID, sent over a EuroISDN Trunk - Network Side connectivity,will have the presentation flagged as restricted.End-to-End SignalingEnd-to-End Signaling, which allows in-band dialing to be performed onISDN trunks before and after the call has been answered, is supported on theEuroISDN Trunk - Network Side connectivity.In the case of tandem with ISDN trunks, the necessary information to allowthe End-to-End Signaling feature is tandemed to the ISDN trunk. At thispoint, it becomes the responsibility of the end user switch to provide theEnd-to-End Signaling service.Incoming Digit Conversion (IDC) EnhancementThis feature is supported on the incoming EuroISDN Trunk - Network Sideconnectivity DID routes. If IDC is equipped, digits received as a called partynumber are converted, and digit analysis is then performed on the converteddigits.ISDN CLID EnhancementsThe EuroISDN Trunk - Network Side connectivity supports all of the userside ISDN CLID enhancements.
