Abort Switches Releasing ApplicationsNFS-3030 Programming Manual P/N 51345:C 11/4/03 95How to Program a Release End Bell CircuitNote: A releasing circuit with this Type Code requires the following selections: a Releasing Zone; an outputcircuit mapped to the same Releasing Zone; Switch Inhibit; Non-Silenceable; No Walk Test. The following contains information needed to program a Release End Bell circuit for an SLC orPanel Circuit output module .Description An SLC or panel circuit output module to activate an audible or visual devicewhen releasing devices shut off. Multiple outputs with the REL END BELL TypeCode can also be mapped to the same Releasing Zone. When all the ReleasingZone functions are complete, all outputs with the REL END BELL Type Codeactivate at the same time. A REL END BELL circuit remains on until the system isreset.Program Select an SLC or panel circuit output module to use as a Release End Bell circuit. While programming the point (refer to the Point Programming section of thismanual for instructions),1. Select the REL END BELL Type Code,2. Enter the number of the desired releasing zone into the module’s zone map.The releasing zone must be fully programmed (refer to "Releasing Zone" onpage 46).Example A programming example of a control module programmed as a Release End Bell forReleasing Zone ZR05.Appendix Figure B-14 Output Module Configured as a Release EndBell CircuitType CodeREL END BELLType CodeRELEASE CKTType CodeRELEASE CKTType CodeREL AUDIBLEFor example, a module programmed with the REL END BELLType Code activates when all releasing functions, such as thereleasing functions programmed for ZR05, shut off.OutputmoduleOutputmoduleZR05MonitorModule Detector Detector DetectorSLCoutputmoduleSLCoutputmodulewww.PDF-Zoo.com
