60ReportsUnderstanding ReportsYour fax machine provides a variety of useful reports, which helpyou understand the current settings, programming, andoperations of your fax machine. Refer to the reports listing belowto determine which reports you may want to print, then refer to“Printing Reports” on page 63 for instructions on printing areport.Activity ReportThe activity report provides a communication record of your faxmachine. Information provided on this report includes:– The total amount of time your fax machine spent sending faxesand the total amount of time spent receiving faxes.– The date, time and duration (S, R-TIME) of each transmissionor reception.– The name or telephone number of the fax machine you werecommunicating with (DISTANT STATION ID). If you weresending a fax, the Personal ID or telephone number of theremote fax machine that received the document will be printed.If the remote fax machine does not have a Personal ID ortelephoned number programmed, the Location ID or telephonenumber you entered will be printed. If you were receiving afax, the Personal ID or telephone number of the remote faxmachine that sent the document will be printed. If you werereceiving a fax and the remote fax machine does not have aPersonal ID or telephone number programmed, no data isprinted.– The communication mode used for each transmission orreception.– The number of pages sent or received.– The result of each communication.– Service codes.Note: This report does not contain the results of fax messageswhich were received without errors and printedimmediately, i.e. only transmissions, receptions witherrors and memory receptions are recorded.Broadcast MCF (Confirmation) ReportUse this report to confirm the results of a multiple-locationtransmission (or broadcast). Information provided on this reportincludes:– The date and time at which the broadcast started.– The total amount of time used to complete the broadcast.– For each location, the Location ID or telephone number, thenumber of pages sent and the result of the communication.Note: If there have been no transmissions to multiple locations(broadcast) then this report cannot be printed
