We have programmedyour scanner with these seven frequencies.To hear your local forecast and regionalweather information, press WX. The scannerbegins to scan the weather band.You will probably receive one frequencybetter than the others for your area. Thescanner should stop within a few seconds onthat frequency. If the broadcast is weak,press WX again to resume scanning.Weather Channel FrequencyChartUsing the Weather AlertThis scanner can receive NOAA weatheralert tone broadcasts in case of anemergency. The weather alert tone soundwarns you of serious weather conditions.To listen for an alert tone, press PRI/ALERTwhile you are tuned to the weather channel.ALErt appears. If the scanner detects aweather alert, it sounds a tone. Press anykey to mute the tone.
