Understanding Your Phone 13KeysThe following list correlates to the open and front viewillustrations.1. Earpiece: Used to listen to audio.2. Display: Allows you to see when you have an incomingcall or message. It also displays date, time, network type,signal strength, and battery power icons, and any iconsassociated with alerts or alarms.3. Volume keys/Menu Navigation: Used to adjust the ringervolume in standby mode, to mute the incoming call ringer,or to adjust the voice volume during a call.Can also be used to browse through the menu options or toadjust playback volume when the Music Player is active.4. Left soft key: Performs the function indicated by thescreen text on the bottom of the display.5. Messaging: Allows you to access the Messaging menu.6. Send key: Allows you to place or receive a call and poweron your handset. Press and hold to power on your handset.In standby mode, press the key once to access the RecentCall log. If you press and hold the key down, you willinitiate the most recent call from the Recent Call log.7. Built in QWERTY Keypad: Allows you to enter numbers,letters, and characters using a full QWERTY keypadinterface.8. Function key: Allows you to input numbers and symbolson the upper half of the keys.9. Microphone: Allows the other callers to hear you clearlywhen you are speaking to them.10. Caps Shift: Allows you to input upper-case text.11. CV: Press to launch Cellular Video, provided it is activatedon your SIM.12. Camera key: Launches the camera and camcorderfunctionality of the handset.13. Silent key: Allows you to toggle between Normal andSilent mode.14. Power On/Off/Menu Exit key: Ends a call or exits aprogram. Press and hold this key for a few seconds topower your phone On or Off. While in the main menu, itreturns the phone to standby mode and cancels your input.When you receive an incoming call, press to reject call.
